Late June 1998
Well, I've been taking more of an interest in the sky again lately now that Scorpius has risen above my treelined eastern horizon. I looked at M4 and M57 the other day. I was good to see some interesting constellations for a change. The Spring sky is pretty boring [at least with a 4" scope]. I stayed up late enough to see Sagitarius the other night but not with the scope. Too many mosquitos! I hope to learn this constellation well this year. What a treasure trove of deep space objects. I guess I'd better get some DEET. :-)
