Saturn visible at about 11:30pm. VERY SHARP! Ruth and I could actually see, faintly, the atmosphere bands. The rings were at a great angle. I could see the shadow from the planet on the back of the rings. I couldn't, however, discern the Cassini division in the rings although they appeared to have a faint graduation of color.
Jupiter looked pretty sharp although nothing much going on. I think I missed an occulation of the moons.
Venus was a little more than half full. This was obvious with the green filter.
Saw M31 for the first time in a long while.
